This talk will teach you the basic principles of Geology and how to identify different rock types and how they form. You will learn about the following:

• How the earth formed

• Plate tectonics

• The Rock Cycle

• The difference between Igneous, Metamorphic and Sedimentary rocks

• How to identify different rock types

• A basic understanding of the Geology of Scotland and its geological history

There will be time at the end to interact with Luisa (Scottish geologist) and ask questions. Please feel free to bring any rocks along with you that you'd like Luisa to try and identify. You'll also have the opportunity to meet Yura the Utonagan (Luisa's Dog that appears in many of her videos).
